On October 8, 2008, 3xM received the Transparency Award (De Transparant Prijs) for its 2007 Annual Report in the medium-sized organizations category. 3xM is the first Christian missionary organization winning this award. Awarded by the auditing agency PricewaterhouseCoopers, Inc. in collaboration with the Civil Society Foundation of The Netherlands (Stichting Civil Society Nederland), the Transparency Award is intended for the Dutch charity that presents the most insightful and distinguished annual report.

Martien Timmer, International Director of 3xM states, "In this uncertain time of global credit and food crisis, we continue to spread the certainty of faith via television and internet. Transparency of our own faith as well as that of our reporting and financing is of great importance. We are more than grateful for the recognition. The € 10,000 award will help us in spreading the Gospel to those who have not yet heard of it."
